The early career of Carme Riera was linked to the textile design that marks her career. As of 1976, leaves behind traditional techniques and  embarks  on a journey of exploration with complete freedom in the use of artistic procedures. Looking all the possibilities offered by  materials, objects, words, signs, the photographic image ... to offer  works that draw from the outside world and closer: the sea, the land, the landscape ...
